Future Golfers of America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to function as the financial and access-based support system for competitive junior golfers from underserved communities. FGA removes the structural cost barriers in junior golf so athletes can pursue development pathways that would otherwise be unattainable. The organization exists to support long-term competitive development, not recreational participation.
Competitive junior golf requires sustained financial investment beyond equipment, including training access, memberships, and tournament participation. These recurring costs often prevent capable athletes from progressing despite demonstrated talent and commitment. FGA’s mission is to remove financial and access barriers that limit opportunity in competitive junior golf.
FGA serves junior golfers who are actively pursuing competitive development and demonstrate commitment to structured training and tournament play. Priority is given to athletes from underserved or low-income households whose progress is limited by financial or access-based barriers. Recreational golfers are not eligible for FGA programs.
FGA is based in San Antonio, Texas, and primarily serves athletes within the region. The organization is structured to expand responsibly as funding, partnerships, and program capacity grow. Eligibility and selection criteria remain consistent regardless of geography.
FGA is funded through a combination of sponsorships, partnerships, individual donations, and grant support. Funding is allocated directly to athlete-related program expenses rather than unrestricted financial assistance. Program enrollment and nomination cycles are tied to confirmed funding availability.
Supporting one FGA athlete through a full competitive season typically ranges from $3,000 to $7,500 depending on tournament participation, training, equipment, and travel requirements.
FGA helps remove these financial barriers by supporting essential expenses such as:
• Tournament entry fees
• Competitive memberships
• Equipment and apparel
• Training and instruction
• Travel assistance when required
Support from donors and Founders Circle Partners allows talented junior golfers from underserved communities to compete, develop, and pursue opportunities in the game that would otherwise be financially out of reach.

This includes tournament entry fees, memberships, equipment, training opportunities, and other development expenses that allow athletes to compete and grow in the game.
Operational costs are kept minimal so that the greatest possible impact reaches the athletes the program was created to support.

Founders Circle Partners and sponsors are recognized across FGA platforms, events, and communications as early supporters helping establish the foundation of the organization. Their support helps talented junior golfers from underserved communities access opportunities in the game that would otherwise be out of reach.

Partnerships reflect shared values and collaboration beyond a single event.
