Future Golfers of America
Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
Your trust matters to us. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe.
Who We Are
Future Golfers of America (FGA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, EIN 39-3445115, that helps talented junior golfers keep competing when cost stands in the way. This policy covers futuregolfersofamerica.org and the forms, donations and emails connected to it.
Information You Give Us
When you donate, we receive your name, email address, the amount and any message you choose to include. Your card or bank details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored on our website or seen by our staff.
When you nominate a junior golfer, volunteer, ask about a partnership or contact us, we receive what you type into that form. A nomination can include information about the junior, such as their name, age, school, golf experience and how to reach their family. When you sign up for updates, we receive your email address.
What We Collect Automatically
To understand how people find and use the site, we record the pages visited, the website that sent you, the type of device and an approximate location (city, state and country) provided by our hosting company. Your browser keeps a random visitor number so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It does not contain your name.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Staff who sign in to manage the site use a sign-in cookie that applies only to them.
How We Use Your Information
We use what you share to process donations and send receipts, answer your questions, review nominations, coordinate volunteers and partners, send the updates you asked for, improve the website and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run FGA, and only for that purpose: Stripe for payments, Vercel for website hosting, Neon for secure data storage and Google Workspace for email. We may also share information when the law requires it.
We do not publish the names of individual donors without their permission.
Children's Privacy
Our website is meant for adults. Nominations about junior golfers are submitted by parents, guardians, coaches and mentors. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete information about their child at any time by emailing us.
Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by replying to one or by emailing us. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond as quickly as we can, and we may keep donation records that tax law requires.
How We Protect and Keep It
Information travels over secure, encrypted connections and is stored with providers that use industry security standards. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
